Frixa Co Ltd was established in 1991 and is part of the Hankook Tire group of companies. (the seventh largest tire manufacturer in the world) Both companies are located in South Korea.
In 2004, Hankook Tires announced a partnership with Frixa to strengthen its position in the global automotive market. Extensive research on brake parts materials was carried out through Hancock's state-of-the-art research and development center in Daeung, South Korea. FRIXA developed world-class leading brake pads and received certification in January 2004 for TS16949 and IS09001 standards and began exporting to all over the world.
The Japanese car manufacturers, known for their professional reliability, currently use FRIXA pads as original parts, among others in Toyota, Honda, Isuzu, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Nissan vehicles. Also in the Korean market which includes Hyundai, Daewoo, Kia and Samsung cars.
